What is Love?

How do people know that they are in love? Now thats what I call a tough question!! Some of use get some romantic notions when we see someone of opposite sex...and think that its love. But is it really? Tomorrow, you see someone else; and you think its love again!!
Is love one-sided? The movies, the stories, the theatre may show it as yes - but I believe in real practicle life - that love is not love - unless you both have same thing for each other. How long can you pursue the someone, without getting anything in return? At some point, you start feeling the rejection, and either you distance yourself from everyone else; or you start going after someone else. So, whatever notions you had with earlier person - would you really call it love?
I say - No.

According to me - the definition of Love is ---- Love is an emotional binding between two people, which keeps the relationship strong; the binding which is built on honesty, trust, faithfulness, and integrity. Love has its intrinsic characteristic feature which says- that both will take care of each other, will be with each, in happiness & sadness, in joy & sorrow.
This love can be between a man and a woman; or a mother and son; or any 2 or more individuals. Its simply speaking - an emotional binding :) shared by all involved in the relationship... as similar degrees.
